On May 27, 2025, The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center will begin a major building expansion project. This expansion is designed to enhance our facility and improve the experience and care we provide to our patients and their families.
During this time, patients and visitors may notice increased construction activity onsite. We ask for your patience and understanding as we work to improve our space.
As part of this transition, two monthly support groups will be paused after May 13, 2025.
- Living with Stage 4/Incurable Cancer Support Group: last meeting, May 13, 1:30–3 p.m.
- Greater Waterbury Area Ostomy Support Group: last meeting, May 5, 6:30–8:30 p.m.
The Art Therapy Cancer Support Group will now be held the second and fourth Tuesday of every month from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at Family & Children’s Aid, 30 Holmes Avenue, Waterbury. To register, call 203-790-6568 x109 or email clientservices@annsplace.org.
