The COVID-19 pandemic has made life even more difficult for people undergoing treatment for cancer, but according to a recent article in the Republican-American, some Waterbury-area cancer patients are getting quality care in a supportive environment thanks to the “amazing” medical staff at The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center.
Wolcott resident Rosa Lund, 54, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in November, said while continuing treatments during quarantine has been difficult, she is grateful to the staff and doctors at the Leever Cancer Center for helping her get through it.
